I remember, some decades ago, Jayshanker use to act in cowboy type of movies. This time around after a long time, we got to see a cow-boy Tamil movie directed by Simbudevan who has given us “Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi” a super duper hit Tamil comedy period film in 2006.
“Irumbukottai Murattu Singham” is complete entertaining movie with all the ingredient of Tamil cinema – action, fantasy, eroticism, romance! Padmapriya is doing an intense role of village belle – daughter of a Marshal.
Padmapriya Janakiraman or Padmapriya holds a management degree and before her career in the movies, she was working a consultant for risk management in GE Capital. She was born to an Army officer – Tamil Iyer family. She was trained classical dancer having performed in several Government events including SAARC exchange programs. Padmapriya is winner of Miss Andhra title in the year 2001.

She went on to doing some good films since then in all South Indian languages films – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. And this year, she even appeared in her first Hindi movie “Stricker” with Siddharth. She has already 30- or so movies. In this year, about 7-movies are expected to hit the screen.
