What you need to know about these sites and protecting yourself

Looking to make contact with locals in your area, Sex, free to browse, nude photos. That’s the way that most of the real money making websites start off. If you are looking to make these contacts, however, you will have to pay to get the information.If you are comfortable with these sites, so be it. But, be careful, there is a lot of scams out there just to get your money. They will say they have hundreds of people in your area that want to meet you, send you bogus messages and when you pay, you find these members don't exist. The ones that you finally do find, can be old members that don't even participate anymore, or are not interested anymore.
What if I told you that there was a way to really a way to find personal without the pay as you play ads that you see. If you are really interested in this, there is a solution.
First, there are sites like Craigslist that have personal sections that allow you to post contact information and scan ads placed by others and contact them for free. You will have to allow for the fact that a lot of the ads in these searches may be posted in adult sections and you may not get the results that you are looking for right away.
There is another site, Corkin.com, and it also has a personal’s section and it allow you access to ads nationwide. It is similar to Craigslist, but it allows you to post just about anything without the restrictions. Corkin.com allows you to build a friends list, and send emails out to people on your list.
Next, there are social sites like Facebook and MySpace. I know that most of you are aware of these sites, but did you know that you can do local searches. There are thousands of people out there just like you, and just waiting for someone to find them. Just take some time and do zip code searches for people in your area. Check their profile to see if they are attached, single or other. Once you have this information you can send a friends request. Once you get the reply, start a conversation and who knows you just may find what you’re looking for.
OK, then there is one other way to find people on the web. Start a free blog seeking relationships. These blogs tend to get hundreds of hits a day. You can start a blog for free on several different sites and actually make money from advertisers willing to pay you for content. This is a little time consuming, but, it can actually lead to some very interesting conversations and possible meetings. I have seen this work, so I know it can be done.
When it comes to posting nude photos, be extremely careful. Once your pictures are on the web, they can wind up anywhere. If you are concerned about someone finding them, my advice don’t do it. If you are on a social network, when someone requests a photo of you, first send a picture that you wouldn’t mind being sent to others. Until you are sure of whom you are dealing with, use caution. Try asking for an email address instead, this way if they are legit, you will have an open line of communication.
But, as with anything on the web, use extreme caution. Don’t offer to meet someone unless it’s in a public place first. Be careful of underage people online and don’t be taken in my scams. Don’t send anyone money in order to meet. These are usually scams ran by outfits that do this to hundreds of people a day.
My final word of caution, don’t fall prey to online predators. They are thousands out there and will do anything to gain your confidence. Once they have your email address and get any personal information, they can do great harm to your financial situation. They will steal your identity and ruin your life. Identity theft is found almost anywhere, social networking sites are becoming more and more popular for these thieves. Don't become a statistic.
