Shilpa gets her brand growing

“We have worked very hard to make this club something everyone will enjoy. Shamita and I chose everything, right from the logo to the décor to the lighting. We want it to be a place where you can enjoy if you are catching up with friends or on a romantic date,” says Shilpa, looking gorgeous at the opening of her latest business venture.

Having named it ‘Royalty’, Shilpa says it’s just another extension of her various business plans, including her IPL team. “It wasn’t intentional. But when we were thinking of what to name it, we really liked the name of our IPL team and decided to name the place Royalty. It has a nice ring to it, don’t you agree?,” says the actress.

Ever since Shilpa Shetty won Celebrity Big Brother, there has been no stopping the actress - from launching her own perfume and a yoga DVD to a chain of restaurants and an IPL team, and now, this pub.

And like all things Shilpa and hubby Raj Kundra back, this too had its momentous opening. Bollywood stars Karan Johar, Fardeen Khan with wife Natasha, Adnan Sami, Neha Dhupia, David Dhawan and Harman Baweja all checked out Royalty on its opening night.
