Unconfirmed reports said that the marriage would be held on May 9, while another version is that it would be performed in November.
The betrothal function commenced at the auspicious Brahmi muhurtam at the residence Narne Srinivasa Rao, proprietor of the Narne Estates.
Nandamuri family members, including Balakrishna, Daggupati Purandareswari and her husband Daggupati Venkateswara Rao, TD president Chandrababu Naidu and some prominent film personalities took part in the function and blessed the would-be-couple.
VV Vinayak, Kodali Nani, Rajiv Kanakala, SS Rajamouli, Keeravani were present at the event.
